19:00h Kinetic Day for the Presentation of the Code of Good Audiovisual Practices in the Film Industry
Elche, room in Hotel Huerto del Cura (Port Hotels)
This activity was created by the Asociación de Buenas Prácticas en el Audiovisual (ABPAU), an organisation created in 2016 with the aim of drafting proposals to unify the sector in the practice of principles, attitudes and values that ensure principles of quality and establish ethical relations between professionals.
In coordination with Familia de Cine, ABPAU and Fundación Mediterráneo as organiser of the Elche Film Festival, the aim of the conference is to publicise the Audiovisual Code of Good Practice in order to provide a framework for decision-making and a guide for ethical action that will serve as an orientation for all film professionals to defend their ethical values in the audiovisual sector, both nationally and internationally.
After several months of preparing a draft that has been shared with different sectorial groups and audiovisual professionals, in order to gather each of the contributions according to the diversity of profiles and needs, we hope to present and debate on reaching a consensus on the framework to govern relations between professionals working in the creation, production, distribution and promotion of work in the audiovisual sector.
Participants: the day will have a RT with speakers representing ABPAU, Familia de Cine, Ciudad de la Luz, some of the professional groups of interest that have participated in the draft (for example, the Association of Audiovisual Production Professionals), FESCICOM (Association of Film Festivals of the Valencian Community) and the Elche Film Festival. We will have a row 0 with a wide representation of the state, CV and local audiovisual sector (CIMA, Pantalla (State Network of Film Festivals), Acadèmia Valenciana de l’Àudiovisual, Ajuntament d’Elx – Visit Elx with Elx Film Office, Training Centres, …).
*Free activity with capacity limited to the capacity of the venue.
